New release dates for Apollo 18 and Final Destination 5

Apollo 18 has switched dates again. The found footage film based on NASA’s last man-to-moon mission was originally set for this April, but then was bumped to January 2012. Now, it’s moving back to 2011, more precisely, August 26th, which was Final Destination 5‘s date as well. Sooooo now Final Destination 5 (wasn’t the last one supposed to be...you know…the Last One?) has moved up to August 12, 2012. Hope they’ve made up their minds.

Final 5 is a “wait for DVD for sure”, but I’m not certain about Apollo. I’m rather worn on “found footage” flicks, and to be honest I think most of them suck. Paranormal Activity bored the hell out of me and The Last Exorcism made me want to slap everyone involved. I’m trying to reserve judgment on Apollo until I hear word of mouth. We’ll see.
