Kate Beckinsale may be in Total Recall


It looks like Kate Beckinsale (Underworld Trilogy (Underworld / Underworld: Evolution / Underworld: Rise of the Lycans) [Blu-ray]) has been offered a role in the upcoming remake of Total Recall. I’m thinking at this point that she’ll be taking the role preveiously occupied by Sharon Stone as the role of Melina has been rumored to go to either Eva Mendes(Live!) or Rosario Dawson (Sin City (Two-Disc Theatrical & Recut, Extended, and Unrated Versions) [Blu-ray] ) (either would be good). I’d like to see Kate in a more expansive role (just cuz it’s her), but we’ll have to wait and see. You’ll know when we do!


Updates confirm that it is Lori (Sharon Stone's original character) that Kate is being asked to play. Wouldn't be a bad role for her, but I may have a little tear when she dies...That is if they stick that close to the original.


She’ll be playing along side Colin Farrell (Ondine [Blu-ray]) as Douglas Quaid. Total Recall (Total Recall [Blu-ray]) also has Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad - The Complete First Season) onboard as villain Vilos Cohaagen.
