Vin Diesel is The Machine

I was hoping for more action from Vin, but it looks like he's taking the Dwayne Johnson route. Vin's next project will be The Machine according to The Wrap which reports:

The film sounds like a live-action Iron Giant. The story has Diesel as a human-like machine that the Pentagon created as the ultimate weapon. But 20 years later, after the project has been shut down, a young boy discovers and befriends this machine. When the government learns of the machine’s return, the machine is forced to protect the boy and his family when the government comes knocking.

Not something I'll see until it hits HBO on some night when I've got nothing better to do. Here's hoping his next project will be an action flick.
