Robert Zemeckis To Direct Flight
Robert Zemeckis in talks to direct Flight, a drama which Denzel Washington ( is loosely attached to star. I hope that Denzel signs on. Personally I think he has a great screen presence. There’s no production date set, but based on the description I’m hoping to see this one pretty soon.
The story concerns an alcoholic and drug-addicted pilot. Who becomes a hero when his plane malfunctions and he manages to rescue both the craft and it’s passengers. During an FAA investigation evidence of drug abuse is found. The FAA attempts to sweep it under the rug to preserve the image of the captain as he tries to change the course of his life.
