CGI apes...I'm sorry, but I still can't get past it. Maybe I'll change my mind....However, I wouldn't count on it. The storyline looks really good from the trailer, but I'm still a practical FX kinda guy!

Peter Chernin and Dylan Clark are producing for Chernin Entertainment under its pact with Fox. Rupert Wyatt is directing from a screenplay by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, who are also producing.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes opens in theaters everywhere August 5, 2011.
