The Lone Ranger Gets a Holiday 2012 Release
Deadline reports that The Lone Ranger (Disney) is getting released for the holidays 2012.
I'm still not sure how to feel about this one. It's going to fall upon the writing and how the characters are treated. Will Depp's Tonto be a copy of Sparrow, or will he play it serious? Will the script call for a serious western (which The Lone Ranger has the potential to be in the vein of Hang 'Em High, etc) or will it go for camp? Guess I'll have to wait for a trailer.
