Jason D. Keller To Re-Write The Passage

Screenwriter Jason D. Keller has been hired to rewrite The Passage for 20th Century Fox.

The Passageis based on the novel by Justin Cronin about a scientific experiment gone wrong which unleashes a new breed of vampires on the world. Vampires with the ability to read minds.

The original adaptation was written by John Logan prior to Fox getting the rights to the novel in 2007. Justin Cronin plans this as the first in a trilogy of novels.

No production schedule at this time, but the project is to be produced through Ridley Scott's Scott Free Films.
