Taken 2 Lands at 20th Century Fox

20th Century Fox will distribute the upcoming Untitled Taken Sequel
in North America, which is being produced by EuropaCorp.
The studio also landed most of the international territories as
well, although EuroCorp will handle distribution for France,
Germany, parts of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Benelux,
territories which were already pre-sold.

Liam Neeson and Maggie Grace will reprise their roles from Taken.
Olivier Megaton (Transporter 3) will direct the Untitled Taken
Sequel from a screenplay by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.

Untitled Taken Sequel comes to theaters in 2013.

I'm torn on this one. Liam Neeson is the shit and I loved Taken, but can
they make it work twice? I certainly hope so. 90% of this film will depend
on the script. The original was fast paced and engaging. If this one is
any less so, it will fail to live up to the original.
