Zombie mayhem will be ringing in the New Year as the British zombie comedy STAG NIGHT OF THE DEAD is to get its UK release on 9th January on DVD and iTunes.

Set in the wake of a zombie outbreak, when private companies are cashing-in on ways to dispose of the undead, Neil ‘Napoleon’ Jones’ film is about a stag party out for a game of Zomball – like paintball except that you get to shoot zombies. Dean (the groom) and his bachelor buddies take along Candy, the stripper they’ve hired for the wild weekend, but the fun soon turns into a game of life and death as the zombies inevitably attack.

Will the groom survive his stag night and make it to the church on time?

Tape 407 Trailer Crash Lands Online

Tape 407: The Mesa Reserve Incident is directed by Dale Fabrigar and Everette Wallin, written by Robert Shepyer and starring Abigail Schrader, Samantha Lester, James Lyons and Melanie Lyons. Tape 407 carries an October 31, 2011 release date.

I'm sort of so-so on all the "found footage" flicks, but maybe this one can surprise me? Check out the info and trailer and let us know what you think.

The film is shot in found footage style and revolves around the events surrounding a horrific plane crash. After the terror of the impact is over, things just get worse.

"More terrifying than surviving a plane crash is what awaits them in the darkness."

One of Hollywood's most terrifying new films, Tape 407 features lost footage too real for reality and too disturbing for fiction. The film opens with two teenagers flying from New York to Los Angeles on New Year's Eve. Their nightmare begins when their plane hits extreme turbulence mid-flight. The relentless weather attack causes panic and terror amongst the passengers until the plane ultimately crashes in a remote government-testing area.

The handful of survivors from the crash, bloody and disoriented, are then insistently pursued in the darkness by unknown predators that, unbeknownst to them, are part of the government's top-secret Mesa Experiment. The film will take moviegoers on a whirlwind ride with a twist ending that will leave them breathless, shocked, and terrified.

Gingerclown Teaser Trailer Featuring Tim Curry

Ok....This thing is called Gingerclown 3D....so why in the heyyyyalllllla am I so looking forward to seeing it? Could it be the casting of Tim Curry voicing the titular Gingerclown and the combination of Brad Dourif, Lance Henriksen, Michael Winslow, and Sean Young providing voices to characters named “Worm Creature, “Braineater”, “Stomachcrumble”, and “Nelly the Spider Woman”? Some how I think that is exactaly why!

Synopsis:

"1983: A group of high school students are having a great time near Hollywood Hills at the weekend when they bump into the Loser from their school, Sam, who’s just on his way home. Sick Boy Trialer

Raven Banner is excited to be representing the worldwide Rights to Tim T. Cunningham’s Sick Boy. Raven Banner’s Managing Partner, James Fler, negotiated the deal with producer/director, Tim T. Cunningham and producer Sean C. Cunningham.
This frightening homage to Hitchcock, and the horror films of the late 70’s, stars Boogeyman’s Skye McCole Bartusiak and features one of the few, true, Scream Queens in the film industry today, Debbie Rochon. Brothers Tim and Sean Cunningham have a combined 30 plus years of film industry experience, and nearly 70 feature visual effects credits between them, including X-Men: First Class, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Speed Racer. This is their second feature, following 2003’s Xtracurricular.
Sick Boy stars Boogeyman and Firestarter 2: Rekindled’s Skye McCole Bartusiak as Lucy, a young woman who steps in for a friend to take a job babysitting a young boy confined to his room due to a mysterious illness. Lucy begins to suspect the child’s mother, played by horror legend Debbie Rochon, is hiding something—the truth turns out to be far worse than she could imagine.

The Incident To Debut at the Toronto International Film Festival

This film is premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival this year. From the looks of the pics below I can't wait for it to make its way here. I was going to post a trailer from dreadcentral, but they have a trailer for Paranormal Incident posted on their story for this film instead of a trailer for this actual film.

Synopsis

George, Max and Ricky are in a rock band and waiting for their big breakthrough. Between small gigs and rehearsals they work in the kitchen of a high-security asylum for good pay at minimum risk — they have no physical contact with the inmates. One night just before dinner time, a big storm shuts down the security system, the doors open and the lunatics break loose. Help is on its way and should soon arrive ... they just have to survive until it does.
